i thought that, too, until i noticed that some people are getting sets of memories that others aren't... it'd be pretty arbitrary that a bunch of people who don't know each other would be remembering the same stuff but then those people could have absolutely no shared experiences with the people they've grown up with or whatever
you think so? honestly id be less skeptical if it were the other way around because theres less potential to fuck around with people when you arent calling into question all of their relationships this way seems deliberately designed to mess with as many heads as possible
