but even assuming thats true
i have at least one memory of almost dying
so i guess i didnt expect to live to be old and grey
though i guess i mightve cheated on that a little

Well, isn't that a good thing? That means you know for sure that you lived through everything and grew old.
I'm sure most people would want some certainty to the end of their lives like that.

but yeah i guess
just doesnt have any bearing on how long ill live through things now
